Tenner's Ten is back for the fifth week! Every Monday we are bringing you ten songs we have had on repeat for the week. This week is our favourite mix so far, including tracks from Claud, Amaarae, Holly Humberstone and BEXY - as well as an insanely slick track from issue one feature seeyousoon.

Claud - 'Tommy'

Thank you so much for this beautiful song, Claud. It sent chills down my body the first time I heard it, and I love it even more every time I replay it. The stripped-down song is an intimate look into the mind of Claud, coming from a time where they thought no matter what they did, they’d never be enough. There aren't a lot of words that quite capture the energy and feel of this song, you just have to listen for yourself.

Ash Lune - 'Before'

Ash Lune is back again, impressing us once again with her dazzling songwriting and soulful vocals. Following her last hit, ‘Panic At The Party’, the new single ‘Before’ is taken from her forthcoming debut EP ‘Broken Science Experiments’. If there is anyone to keep your eye on, it is the immensely talented Ash Lune.

Amaraae - 'SAD GURLZ LUV MONEY Remix'

(Featuring Kali Uchis & Moliy)

This song is an infectious dance track from Amaarae, an artist we are so excited to finally have on our radar. The remix features the incredible Kali Uchis, adding an extra layer of sauce on this feel-good groover. This song floods in the desire to dance with friends, longing for an end to lockdown and the beginning of summer, a time to let go and be free. This song has been on repeat all week in the flat, and I’m not complaining!

Smino - 'I Deserve'

(With NOS.)

Smino is back with a new single, ‘I Deserve’ featuring guest vocals from his official DJ, NOS. This joint proves that yet again Smino never misses.

seeyousoon - 'GUOYL'

Sheeesh! seeyousoon have snapped on their latest album ‘HZLIKEHELL’. This album is the nine-piece at their finest, it was such a challenge to pick just one to include in this week’s playlist, we went with GUOYL. This song showcases the versatility of Kenny and Iggy’s production, as well as the incredible range of style the group can master. Tenner interviewed the group for our very first issue, and we have loved watching their takeover since. This album isn’t like anything else, we highly recommend diving into the world of ‘HZLIKEHELL’

deadforest - 'Paparazzi'

(Featuring Church)

deadforest continues his triumphant takeover with the release of his new single ‘Paparazzi’ from his highly anticipated forthcoming debut album ‘PLASTIC’. Teaming up with one half of Church & AP, the pair spit bars back and forth over an electrifying beat produced by Dera Meelan. Dera and deadforest are an insane duo, bringing the sauce once again as they blur the lines between drill, rap and electronic music.

Holly Humberstone - 'Scarlett'

Wowww, this EP is magical! Holly Humberstone continues to soar on her recent EP ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin’ The EP is an intimate look inside Holly’s move away from home, at a time where nothing felt familiar. We couldn’t recommend this project enough!

BEXY - 'Not The One'

BEXY has done it again! This time, with her recent single ‘Not The One’. BEXY’s soulful vocals echo over production reminiscent of a rising FKA Twigs song. It is ultimately cinematic, and perfect for a nighttime drive. This is our favourite BEXY song yet, and we are so excited for more!

maxime. - 'telephone wires'

Introducing maxime.! We found this gem of a song through Discord, and have had it on repeat since. This song is infectiously catchy, with hazy vocals that’ll run laps in your head and some special production that gets more complex with each listen. Plus, how could we ignore the chirpy synths, a true cherry on top! Keep an eye on maxime. as he releases his next promising new EP this Friday!

This is the opening song from Aries’ electrifying new album BELIEVE IN ME, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU. The punchy beat hooked me in instantly, reminding me of booming echoes heard from a stage at a music festival. Some of our favourite tracks from the project include ‘HOW RUDE’, ‘KIDS ON MOLLY’ and ‘DESPERADO’. The future is looking bright for Aries!

Check out our Tenner's Ten playlist on Spotify, and check back next Monday for another 10!
